Class Descriptions
Creative Movement (Ages 2.5-3):
A breakdown of primary motor skill movement to fun and exciting activities. Through imagery and play the children learn cooperation, patience, gross motor skills, and self esteem. Includes some mat work. Length: 30 minutes.
Intro to Dance (Ages 3-4)
A children's class which incorporates Pre-Ballet and Creative Movement. An introduction of basic ballet steps and vocabulary while continuing primary motor skills to build self-assurance and confidence. Includes some mat work. Length: 45 minutes.
Pre-Dance (I-Ages 4-5; II-Ages 5-6)
A children's class which incorporates Pre-Ballet, Beginning Tap and Creative Movement. Class includes development of basic steps, vocabulary and movement, while maintaining a fun and positive atmosphere. Emphasis on cooperation, participation and encouragement. Length: 45 minutes-1 hour.
Combo (I-Ages 6-7; II-Ages 7-8; III-Ages 8-9)
A children's class which incorporates Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Class includes a breakdown of the basic dance steps with an emphasis on proper technique. Careful attention is given to positive encouragement while working on technical corrections. Length: 1-1.5 hours.
Ballet (Ages 8 & up)
A stylized, formal type of performance dancing, Ballet aims to create graceful patterns and involves rigorous training. It is the fundamental technique for all classes. Strongly recommended as an addition to any class. Length: 1-1.5 hours.
Jazz (Ages 8 & up)
Style is angular and disjointed. It employs hip isolations, shoulder shrugs and head rolls. Dance movements tend to be pedestrian, emphasizing walking, hand clapping, finger snapping and general body isolations. Length: 1 hour.
Tap (Ages 8 & up)
Movements of tap are concentrated in your feet and ankles. Wearing shoes with metal taps, you tap out the rhythm of the music you are dancing to. Arms, head and hands are important but complementary to the actions of the feet. Length: 1 hour.
Hip Hop (Ages 8 & up)
A form of street dance, the newest trend in jazz dance. Movements are bouncy, fast and funky. Extremely foot oriented but uses isolation movements, popping and break-dancing. Length: 1 hour.
Lyrical (Ages 8 & up)
Strongly influenced by ballet, its movements use the entire body, extending the body lines. Movement posses a flowing quality, although a strong pulse may be used to emphasize dynamics. Length: 1 hour.
Modern (Ages 8 & up)
Concentrates with expressing your own feelings, it is a very flexible kind of dance. Style that uses body contractions, flexed feet and off-center body shapes.
Length: 1 hour.
Turns & Leaps (Level II & up)
A class designated to all turns and leap progressions. A great way to get extra help on advanced skills. Length: 1 hour.
Kwik Combos (Int/Adv Levels)
As the name suggest a class of combinations given at workshop speed and level to assist the dancer in picking up and mastering choreography at a quick pace. Class will be taught at and Int/Adv level. Class is offer 1 Saturday a month and is at drop in rate unless you are are the unlimited program. Length: 1 hour.
Boys Classes (Ages 6-11)
A combination class for boys ages 6 to 11. Focus on male choreography. Will introduce tradition technique as well as jazz, tap, hip hop and basic break dancing in the unique class for boys only. Length: 1 hour.

Class Descriptions
Preschool Gymnastics (Ages 3-5)
Children will learn basic gymnastics skills and improve fine and gross motor skills in classes that blend physical and social development. In addition to listening, turn taking and following directions, we will introduce gymnastics terminology, additional basic gymnastics skills, body positions and the children will have greater exposure to gymnastic equipment. Length: 45 minutes.
AcroDance (Ages 5 & up)
A class that combines basic gymnastic tumbling with jazz dance. Proper alignment, placement and safety are key factors. Improves strength, flexibility and balance. Length: 1 hour.
Elementary Gymnastics (Ages 5-8)
(Beginner/Intermediate Levels) Boys and Girls will focus on tumbling (forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, headstands and handstands), vault, bars, balance beam,
trampoline. This class begins to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics as well as enhancing self-esteem, coordination, balance, flexibility,
strength, form and focus. Length: 1 hour.
Gymnastics 1 (Ages 8+)
Boys and Girls will continue the skills learned in the earlier classes and
further focus on vault, tumbling (round-offs and back- walk- overs), bars
(pull-over and back hip circle), and balance beam. This class continues to
teach the fundamentals of gymnastics as well as enhancing self-esteem,
coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, form and focus. Length: 1 hour.
Theater Program
Class Descriptions
Theater for Tots (Ages 3-4)
24/7's first acting class for our youngest actors! This class will teach your child theatre fundamentals through drama exercises and skits that will enhance your child's creativity and imagination. Length: 45 minutes.
Acting Real (Ages 6 & up)
The basic study of acting and theater techniques. Focus on the ability to follow directions in a stage environment, voice articulation, concentration skills, memorization, stage presence, poise and self confidence. Taught through the use of improvisational games, acting, theater and technique games. Length: 1 hour.
Acting Out (Ages 13 & up)
A more in depth and intense study of acting and theater techniques. Focus on character development, monologues and scene studies. (must have either completed Acting Real or have instructor approval) Length: 1 hour.
Acting Adults (Ages 19 & up)
An intense study of acting and theater techniques focusing on advanced techniques. Focus is on playwriting development, monologues, and production studies.
Length: 1 hour.
Musical Theater (Ages 6-18)
The development of a full scale theatrical production to be performed at the conclusion of the session. The production will be tailored to the students enrolled in the class. Length: 2-4 hours.
Group Voice (Ages 8 & up)
Class instruction in singing with emphasis on basic technique of voice production, including correct breathing, posture, articulation and vocal problems. Various repertoire will be studied. Length: 1 hour.
Theater Dance (Ages 13 & up)
A basic jazz class to work on theater movement using Broadway music and soundtracks. Length: 1 hour.

Art for Preschoolers (Ages 3-5)
Preschoolers CAN "do art", and by themselves, too. There are a few rules of thumb, though. First, focus on process not product. Second, it WILL be messy and that's OK. Art for preschoolers is all about experimenting and learning. The finished product may not look like art, but be assured the whole creativity and discovery process is a valuable learning process. Length: 1 hour.
Music for Tots (Ages 2-3) & Music for Preschoolers (Ages 4-5)
Designed to nurture the musical development of young children by motivating parents and caregivers to engage in musical activities with their child. Through teacher modeling, play, parent education, our a developmentally appropriate curricula, CDs, books, instruments, and activities. Length: 45 minutes.
Fitness Program
Class Descriptions
Kid Fit (Ages 3-5)
This class is recommended for children at least 3-5 years old without parent participation. This class provides children an opportunity to safely explore their environment and introduces them to physical activity. Children will learn body positions and basic gymnastics skills. This is also a great environment to introduce children to important social skills such as listening, taking turns and following directions.
Length: 1 hour.
Adult Fitness (Ages 18 & up)
A 60 minute class targeted on overall fitness of the body, including shoulders, biceps, triceps, chest, back, legs, and core.
Includes cardio, yoga, weights and core work. Length: 1 hour.
Pilates/Conditioning (Ages 12 & up)
The method of body conditioning, is designed to strengthen, lengthen and balance the body. Its six principles; concentration, control, centering, breathe, flow and precision train the body to move efficiently with minimal impact on the body. The focus is on quality, not quantity, core stabilization and working from the inside out. Length: 1 hour.
Awesome Abs (Ages 18 & up)
A 30 minute class of all core building and abdonimal excercise. Some weight work may be included. Length: 30 minutes.
