Gymnastics / Acro & Dance Instructor

Alexandra McGriff is from southern Alabama. In her youth she danced competitively and joined the professional company, Alabama Dance Works, at the age of 17. In addition to dancing with ADW, she taught recreational classes and was actively involved in the competition team choreographing multiple award winning solo and group dances. She is certified in Acrobatic Arts module 1 and Alixa Flexibility modules 1, 2 and 3. Her time at ADW allowed her performance opportunities at Jazz on Tap, The Alabama Dance Festival, The  Impact Project, The Catharsis Series and as a guest with Troy University. After several years of dancing with ADW, Alexandra relocated to Maryland and is now currently a company member with DC based dance company, Gridlock.
