Dance Instructor
Brenna Boland brings over 19 years of diverse dance training and 7 years of teaching experience to 24/7 Dance Studio, specializing in Hip-Hop. Growing up, Brenna trained in the styles Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary at both Ballet and All That Jazz and Bloom Dance Studio in Hagerstown, MD. In high school, Brenna furthered her training as a student in the dance department at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. She also continued her dance education during college at Drexel University and was a dancer, choreographer, and board member for the University of Pennsylvania’s Strictly Funk Dance Company, which specialized in Hip-Hop and Contemporary works.
As an instructor, Brenna has taught and choreographed for dancers ages 2 to 22 across multiple styles including Hip-Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary. Her classes are rooted in emphasizing the simplicity of movement, musicality, and story telling. Brenna believes being an instructor is about more than just teaching her students “how” to dance, it’s also about teaching them to find within themselves “why” they dance. Her main goal within her classroom is that in every student she can help inspire confidence, authenticity, and a passion for movement.
